These grapes provided us with a wine which is at once extraordinarily complex in its flavors and aromas while also filled with black and blue fruit flavors and aromas: Black Cherry, Blackberry and blueberry. The aroma is seared with barrel spices, cinnamon and a mellow smoky components. It is classic Pinot Noir in structure with a smooth entry yet mouth filling. This is classic Russian River Pinot Noir produced by one of the region’s pioneering Pinot winemakers.

2006 Russian River Valley

After 11 months in barrel, this Pinot displays aromatic vanilla, oak, and black cherry with hints of raspberry. Juicy, mouth watering ripe berries, vanilla and spice on the finish. What a mouthful! Full, lively flavors yet silky and elegant. Using old world techniques, we make our Pinot Noir in small batches utilizing open-top fermentors, “punching-down” the fruit by hand.

Russian River Zinfandel for 35 years. This entry into his
famous ledger emphasizes balance and elegance wrapped around
a core of raspberry jam and spice. The hints of cocoa and
black pepper round out the aromas. But the prize is unlocked
on the palate with the raspberry combining with blackberry,
chocolate, cola and oak spice all delivered in an elegant,
smooth package.

The 2004 Third Alarm Cabernet is perfumed with aromas of cassis, licorice, leather and an enticing dusty brambled note. It is an expansive wine that sets the mouth to watering and a delivers medium to full bodied texture of silky, chalky tannins. More cassis is detected in the flavors along with blueberry, chocolate, black olive and coffee notes.
