Pinot Noir
2006 Russian River Valley

These grapes provided us with a wine which is at once extraordinarily complex in its flavors and aromas while also filled with black and blue fruit flavors and aromas: Black Cherry, Blackberry and blueberry. The aroma is seared with barrel spices, cinnamon and a mellow smoky components. It is classic Pinot Noir in structure with a smooth entry yet mouth filling. This is classic Russian River Pinot Noir produced by one of the region’s pioneering Pinot winemakers.

Pinot Noir "Third Alarm" Reserve
2006 Russian River Valley

After 11 months in barrel, this Pinot displays aromatic vanilla, oak, and black cherry with hints of raspberry.  Juicy, mouth watering ripe berries, vanilla and spice on the finish.  What a mouthful! Full, lively flavors yet silky and elegant.  Using old world techniques, we make our Pinot Noir in small batches utilizing open-top fermentors, “punching-down” the fruit by hand.

Zinfandel
2004 Russian River Valley, Estate Grown

Cecil De Loach has been defining Russian River Zinfandel for 35 years. This entry into his famous ledger emphasizes balance and elegance wrapped around a core of raspberry jam and spice. The hints of cocoa and black pepper round out the aromas. But the prize is unlocked on the palate with the raspberry combining with blackberry, chocolate, cola and oak spice all delivered in an elegant, smooth package.

Zinfandel "Third Alarm" Gambogi Ranch
2005 Russian River Valley, Estate Grown

Bring on the BBQ with this dark purple red “zin-fully” delicious Russian River classic.  A nose full of blackberry, vanilla, sandal wood and spice accentuates the bright berry flavor of this hearty old-vine Zin.   Aged in American oak for 11 months, only 470 cases of this hand-made, open-fermented, single-vineyard Zinfandel was produced.

Attractive aromas of vanilla, cinnamon and cherry lead to flavors of dark berries framed by a subtle maple nuance with soft chilies.  The elegant finish shows mild tannins and balanced acidity, making this one of the smoothest wines we have ever produced.  Excellent with dinner tonight or cellared for aging a few years.

"Station Ten" - RED WINE BLEND

Our deep ruby-red blend, with aromas of blackberry, boysenberry, and plum that lead to spicy flavors of rich dark berry and vanilla, is the newest addition to our signature blends.  This "barn-burner' has good acidity in the mid palate with sweet oak and soft tannins in the long finish.  Try our versatile Zin blend with any red meat on the grill or a zesty, tomato-heavy Italian dish.

Cabernet Sauvignon

Made with grapes grown on the Los Amigos Ranch in the warmer eastern confines of the Russian River Valley's "Chalk Hill" sub appellation. Black cherry, cardamom spice, vanilla and leather are the aromatic attractions. But it's the black cherry, cranberry and cocoa that stars in this smooth, moderately tannic, balanced Cabernet.

Made with grapes grown on the Los Amigos Ranch in the warmer eastern confines of the Russian River Valley's "Chalk Hill" sub appellation. The 2004 Third Alarm Cabernet is perfumed with aromas of cassis, licorice, leather and an enticing dusty brambled note. It is an expansive wine that sets the mouth to watering and a delivers medium to full bodied texture of silky, chalky tannins. More cassis is detected in the flavors along with blueberry, chocolate, black olive and coffee notes.

In choosing the lots to blend together for Third Alarm Chardonnay, we sought out complexity combined with intensity. We got it. Beginning with a light straw color, the wine shows off a distinctly tropical and creamy nose with notes of caramel and citrus, framed by melon and pineapple aromas. On the palate we enjoy the streak of crispness that runs across the palate carrying with it rich, long flavors of deep pear, ripe figs, notes of allspice and summer peach, all harmoniously melded together.

Gewürztraminer

Our 2007 Gewürztraminer cries out for a plate of hot pad thai, grilled spicy chicken sausage or a take-away carton of Szechwan beef. It's difficult not to fall in love with this intensely spiced, aromatic wine and it's hint of honeysuckle and grapefruit. Flavors of exotic spice, ripe apple and honey carry through in this sleek, crisp wine leaving a note of sweetness on the finish.
