Anna Ash is a Michigan born, currently Los Angeles based, musician. Her music has been featured on the Showtime series’ Billions and Masters of Sex, as well as Freeform’s The Fosters and Epix’s docuseries Helter Skelter: An American Myth. Her 2022 album, Sleeper, received attention from No Depression, Americana UK, and BBC Radio Scotland, and placements on Spotify’s Fresh Finds, Torch and Twang, Noir, and Fresh Folk playlists. “Trying to categorize this absorbing collection of songs that is Anna Ash’s fourth full album proved a waste of time. Singer/songwriter is true but falls far short in describing lyrics that display such acute emotional intelligence. What immediately resonates is the sparkling purity of her voice. While leaning towards the sad and nostalgic, Ash tells rueful stories that hark back to her Michigan childhood as she stretches her stunning vocal range.” – Americana UKBBC Radio Scotland

“Who says LA can’t make you tender?” she sings in shades of Natalie Merchant or Jewel on the gauzy, sun-drenched beauty “Seasonal.” Looking through Ash’s lens, California becomes a kind of mystic fever dream, fading in and out of view. Her songs capture a place in flux, in all its beauty and despair.” — No Depression”

‘Favorite Part’ treats human adversity with a twist of optimism… [a] perfect showcase for Anna Ash’s gravely thoughtful, crooning style.” – Americana Highways

“Anna Ash has curated a mesmerizing body of songs that circulate like a gentle carousel ride.” – Three Chords and the Truth UK

“Ash expresses tension through smooth vocals and thoughtful lyrics, drawing from a variety of influences, from her folk roots to the jazz-soul of collaborators such as Joe Dart and Theo Katzman of Vulfpeck.” – KCRW
