“Language is wine upon the lips” – Virginia Woolf

Virginia Woolf made the connection between language and wine, so we wanted to take a page from her and create an entire Adventures by the Book series devoted to the pairing of wine and books. Voila! Introducing the Reading Between the Vines series at Hook & Ladder Winery, 2134 Olivet Rd, Santa Rosa, in Sonoma County, California!

Every 3rd or 4th Sunday of the month at 11:00am, Hook & Ladder Winery hosts a bestselling author and curates the perfect wine to pair with the featured literature. The wine and books will be on sale as a monthly feature for the “Book & Ladder” club. The events are free to attend and are open to the public. Featuring a one of a kind setting, this reading presentation and Q&A is a truly unique experience. Start your Sunday off right with a glass of wine and a good book!
