Spencer Burrows and Kris Dilbeck are the powerhouse duo behind North Bay's legendary super-funk-rock band Frobeck, which earned two North Bay Music Awards over their 13-year run. These Sonoma State University and Berklee College of Music alumni have opened for internationally known acts including WAR, Los Lonely Boys, Ivan Neville's Dumpstaphunk, Bootsy Collins, and the Sons of Champlin.
With seven full-length albums under their belt, Burrows and Dilbeck have harnessed their soul, funk, and pop-rock influences into a unique sound that's earned praise from music legends. Bill Champlin of Chicago calls Spencer "one of the best singers I've ever heard... ever," while Emilio Castillo of Tower of Power praises their "powerful vocals" and "real strong songwriting."
After retiring the Frobeck name in 2018, this duo dug deeper into their passion for songwriting and performing—creating music that speaks loudest to their souls. Now they're bringing that passion to our vineyard stage.
