Jason DeLoach is the head winemaker at Hook & Ladder, crafting estate wines that honor three generations of family tradition. The grandson of founders Cecil and Christine DeLoach, Jason grew up among the vines of Barbieri Ranch and joined the winery full-time in 1998. After learning from renowned winemakers and working harvests in both California and Chile, Jason returned home in 2006 to lead Hook & Ladder's winemaking program. With access to 148 acres of estate fruit across Russian River Valley and Chalk Hill, he creates small-lot wines of extraordinary expression, depth, and balance.
